MMA legend Mark Coleman has displayed his resilience outside the Octagon as well and turned a tide after his recent surgery because of a septic infection in his hip. The first heavyweight champion of the UFC had been in the hospital and had to go through six surgeries to fix the infected wound he incurred in a heroic bid to save his parents from a fire that broke out in their Ohio home.

Fight fans all around the world prayed for the well-being of the hero. Even Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson shared his prayers for Coleman as he wrote, “Stay strong my brother 🔨” in the comment section of the video Coleman uploaded as he was discharged from the hospital.

In a recent Instagram video, the 59-year-old could be seen enjoying his time in a barbershop, the former Heavyweight Champion revealed in the caption that he is enjoying his time in his hometown, Ohio, and is feeling much better than before. According to the legend, the pain is not as intense as it was before, and he believes he is only getting better and away from any complications.

Now that he is in much better shape, it would be interesting to see if Dana White calls him as a guest at UFC 306 at The Sphere in Las Vegas. Coleman has previously made special guest appearances in the promotion. Due to Coleman’s heroic effort to save his parents, BMF champion Max Holloway requested that Coleman present the belt in the decisive bout that crowned him king in the matchup against Justin Gaethje.

So it would be a delight for fans to get to see the legend enjoying his time watching the sport that he loves. Maybe the Rock too might join the event, since he too has become a fan of the sport after shooting for the film ‘The Smashing Machine.’ The one where he too incurred a gruesome injury.

The Hollywood titan displayed a vicious shade different from his heroic persona in Hollywood during the Road to WrestleMania this year. Johnson posed a challenge to his cousin Roman Reigns. in a familial feud. But Cody Rhodes, as winner of the Royal Rumble, inserted himself into the fight, thus resulting in a heel turn for The Rock. He ultimately played his part in elevating a historic feud involving The Tribal Chief and Cody Rhodes. One reason why Johnson stepped away from his WWE stint was to resume his evergreen film schedule. Unfortunately, Dwayne Johnson injured his elbow during the filming of his latest film, “The Smashing Machine.” The Rock showed the consequences of his injury on social media, posting a photo of his shabby and purplish elbow because of the bruise following the injury.
