UFC President Dana White and the promotion’s latest bid to monetize the buzz around Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg recently came under heavy public scrutiny. The floated rumors have gained traction ever since the Tesla CEO specified his intent to face his Meta counterpart in a cage fight. The billionaires fight further got support from the UFC head honcho, who is hotly pursuing the super fight. Not a stranger to super fights and a shrewd businessperson, the 53-year-old is ready to bank on the money-minting opportunity.

While the super fight has many takers, Maye Musk wants an amicable solution to the ongoing feud between the tech giants. On the other hand, several UFC associates have jumped in to offer their services. The world is split between the two sides. The UFC lynchpin has clarified the “dead serious” intent of both billionaires to square off. Regardless of the fruition of the fight, the promotion is racking in some dollar bills after they released the official merchandise for the fight.

The UFC store recently released the t-shirts of the rumored fight. The t-shirt with the print “Zuckerberg vs Musk” went live on the website and it requires a buyer to shell out $40.

The t-shirt is the latest in the series as opposed to previous Zuffa and Fight Island merchandise. However, this attempt to capitalize on the buzz didn’t sit well with the fans.

A fan declared he could do the same job for half of the price.

A user announced to bet on his house.

Someone stated that sports needed a new affliction shirt to identify the worst person in the room.

A comment mentioned the only purchasers will be Musk fanboys.

An MMA fan declared the t-shirt will find a place alongside previously released Zuffa merchandise.

Another fan had a scathing remark for White who once denied doing gimmick fights. Notably, the UFC President criticized the boxing fights calling them “gimmick fights”.

He said, “That’s one of the big problems with boxing right now. It’s all about these gimmicky-type fights. And that’s just not what I do here.”

Another comment called shots at the promotion’s policy of making t-shirts first.

Lastly, a fan labeled UFC as “cringe”.
