It seems like Conor McGregor will not stop calling out fighters on social media. He hasn’t fought for well over two years but never fails to take shots at fighters whenever he can. As such, he called out BMF champion Justin Gaethje once again in a post he shared on Twitter (X).

Conor McGregor refuted Justin Gaethje’s status as the BMF champion. Recently, ‘The Highlight’ expressed his urge to fight Jorge Masvidal. He wants to unify the BMF belts but is unsure if ‘Gamebred’ will ever come back to fight again. However, Conor McGregor had a different take on this callout.

‘The Notorious’ seems to have no filters whenever he attempts to take a jibe at a fellow UFC fighter. Similarly, he dissed Justin Gaethje for calling out Jorge Masvidal, who announced his retirement at UFC 287 after a string of poor performances. McGregor believes that it does not suit a BMF champion to call out a retired fighter. He said, “The most un-bmf shout ever.”

Additionally, the Irishman also dissed Gaethje for talking about fighting at 155 pounds. Instead, Conor McGregor suggested that ‘The Highlight’ gets into the sauna. “He fights at 155. lol. B*tch. Get into that sauna, b*tch,” said the former double champion. It is important to note that things have heated up between the UFC fighters after Gaethje mentioned that he wants to retire Conor McGregor. Let us take a look at what he had said earlier.

Gaethje wants to retire ‘The Notorious’

Conor McGregor has been in the fight game for a while. He is undoubtedly the biggest draw in the UFC. So it’s natural that other fighters would like to get inside the Octagon to fight him for a sweet payday. However, that is not Justin Gaethje’s only objective for a fight against McGregor. He supposedly wants to end the Irishman’s career as well.
