Joe Rogan is a well-known comedian and host of the #1 podcast in the world called “The Joe Rogan Experience.” This podcast is a massive global hit, with millions of fans tuning in weekly. Recently, Rogan spoke about “woke Twitter” in one of his podcast episodes.

JRE #1840 featured Rogan alongside Marc Andreessen, in which the two discussed many diverse topics. In one segment, Andreessen spoke about a certain community of people on Twitter, which he labeled “Woke Twitter.” Rogan posted this clip on his Instagram titled “Woke Twitter is a cult.”

In the clip, Andreessen starts by saying, “What woke twitter has basically recreated… they’re a non-religious spiritual cult. They exhibit all the same religious behaviors. They have ex-communication, they have sin, they have redemption, or like thereof, they have original sin.” With this statement, Andreessen pointed out what he believes are the similarities between religion and certain groups on Twitter with a herd-like mentality.

Andreessen continued by adding, “By the way, they have church. They’ve recreated a form of evangelical Protestantism.” Rogan agreed with these statements made by Andressen.

This comes after the recent controversy involving Elon Musk terminating a $44 billion deal to buy Twitter after his initial plans to buy the platform. Certain individuals on Twitter were filled with rage and turned the platform into complete chaos and turmoil.

Elon Musk initially planned to buy Twitter in a huge $44 million deal. With the majority of the board in favor of this decision, the deal was inching closer to being finalized.

Rogan was beyond excited on hearing this news. He couldn’t contain his excitement as he said, “Praise Odin For Elon Musk” He even talked about the possibility of former President Donald Trump rethinking his decision to leave the platform since Musk would now be in charge of it.

Unfortunately for Rogan, Musk has now decided to terminate the contract, enraging a lot of people.
