Many fighters in the UFC fighters have called out Dana White regarding fighter pay. However, the middleweight fighter Kevin Holland seems to be satisfied with his earnings in the promotion.

‘Trailblazer’ appeared at the pre-fight press conference. He talked about his fights and few other things. The 28-year-old has a very outspoken personality and during the conference, he touched on the fighter pay issue in the UFC. He blasted his fellow fighters and urged them to stop complaining about the pay and be more active in the sport.

While talking about the controversial topic, Holland said, “But people go, Oh, people in the NFL make this much money, people in the NBA make this much money. The benchwarmers don’t make that much money. WNBA makes sh** money, you know what I am saying. And at the end of the day, you guys are fighting twice a year, once a year, and you’re mad cause you only made, like $30K/$40K that year. Bruh, you made $30-40K off one fight. If you fought twice, you make $80K.”

He added, “That’s still more than what the person over here working every day is making. As fighters, you fight three times a year? That’s three times. That’s three different seasons. Isn’t there four seasons in a year? You get a whole season off. You still can make more than what somebody who has a big-time trade can make. And for all these fighters that’s going around complaining they ain’t making no money, think about your f**ng coaches. If your bum a* is only fighting one time a year, your coach ain’t making no money.”

Regardless of his losses, the 28-year-old believes a fighter must be more active in the promotion if they want to earn more money. He has fought over two fights every year ever since he entered the UFC. He was on an amazing five-fight unbeaten streak in 2020.

Given his ability to take any fight presented to him, ‘Trailblazer’ is one of the most active players currently in the promotion. Hence UFC has also signed multiple contracts with him. However, Holland must keep himself in the win column to be able to lay his hands on middleweight gold.
