Ariel Helwani finds himself embroiled in a public feud again, this time with former UFC light heavyweight champion, Jamahal Hill. The tension between the two escalated when Hill issued a video response to a recent interview conducted by Helwani with Ji?? Proch?zka. In the interview, the MMA journalist hinted at Hill allegedly mocking Proch?zka’s shoulder rehabilitation ahead of a potential fight between them.
Hill’s response? He took to his youtube channel and gave heated remarks that included threats and comments towards Helwani, calling him “dirty” and “sneaky”. Mentioning the interview featuring Ariel and Proch?zka, he stated how Ariel uses dirty and sneaky tactics to get over on fighters and Helwani seems to have an ‘agenda’ against him as Helwani’s previous tactics did not work on him.

Helwani extended an invitation to Hill to come on his program, “The MMA Hour,” either in-studio or via Zoom, to discuss their differences and resolve the conflict. He emphasized that the invitation was not for views, offering to give Hill the full interview to post on his own YouTube channel while promoting only Hill’s link.
He said, “I would like to extend an invitation to you, Jamahal Hill, who I have nothing but respect for and I think that your thoughts on the way that I think about you are very wrong. I’d like to extend an invitation to you to come in studio on my program and we can hash it out, mano a mano, man to man.”

This is not the first time Helwani has been the center of attention for all the wrong reasons within the fighting industry. And soon after Helwani?s invitation to Jamahal Hill, people took to social media to address their thoughts of Helwani playing ?the victim card? again like in his previous beef. Here are some fan reactions from the comments?
- Greatest victim portrayer of all time
- ?Ariel Helwani plays that victim card so well man I can’t believe I ever took his side on the UFC stuff
- ?That’s why Dana fired you
- This guy never ever ever takes accountability.
- ?Ariel has already done this like 5 times.
- Never forget when Diaz said ?Where I?m from people like you get slapped?
- Ariel is the biggest lame in the sport.
- I used to think I was on Ariel?s side when Dana White told him off? but? you?re not a fighter, Ariel. You?re a wish list Skip Bayless for MMA.
Nevertheless, looks like Helwani is looking forward to settling the dust between him and Hill. He praised Ji?? Proch?zka for taking the high road and wishing Hill a quick recovery from his Achilles tendon injury, as both fighters have vacated the light heavyweight belt over the past year.
