Nate Diaz recently returned to the Octagon after spending almost a year away from the UFC. The fighter returned at the UFC 263 event against Leon Edwards. This fight was the first 5-round non-title fight in UFC. Diaz performed admirably in his comeback fight, however, eventually Edwards won the fight via unanimous decision.

Nate Diaz’s return did not go as planned. However, another member of the Diaz family is looking to make a comeback really soon. Nick Diaz wants to return to the Octagon for the first time since 2015. When Nate Diaz was asked to share his views on Nick’s potential return, the fighter was all praise for his brother.

“Ya it’s good that the world’s moving again, and sh*t came back to normal. So if my brother is around me, that’s the best thing that could happen. That’s the greatest fighter of all time as far as I am concerned.”

“So whenever he wants to make that move and whenever they want to make that move and make something big for him. Then there’s nothing better you can see in martial arts and I’m gonna ride the momentum with him if he fights next. Same way we’ve always done with the whole team Cesar Gracie fighting so, that’s gonna happen. I think that’s the best news for MMA.”

Diaz clearly has a lot of respect and love for his brother and that was clear from what he said. While it is not quite confirmed when Nick Diaz will return to action. One thing is for sure that Nate Diaz will surely be at his brother’s side whenever that happens.

Who are the potential opponents for Nick and Nate Diaz

During the UFC 263 post fight conference. Nate Diaz talked about how he would love to return to action in just a couple of months. The fighter did not name any fighter in particular, but seemed ready to face any fighter available.

Diaz even talked about how he would be willing to face someone like Demian Maia if opportunity arrives, while Nate Diaz seems confident of returning to action in a couple of months. The same cannot be said about Nick Diaz.
