The Internet is a space where users frequently come across random and amusing content that also leaves them in shock and questioning the authenticity of such content. Some quirky clips also emerge very often, challenging the laws of nature. Such a video recently made waves in the MMA community when a man had an unusual wrestling partner, a bear. Subverting the food chain, the man seemingly had an answer to every move the bear made.

In the viral video, MMA fans could witness a fearless man relishing a wrestling match with a brown bear. Not only did the man escape unscathed but also demonstrated his effective wrestling skills, finding himself out of the grip of the bear on each instance and with relative ease. Furthermore, he channelized his ‘inner Khabib Nurmagomedov‘ to triumph over a deadly foe.

The man, when pitted against the bear, remained calm and played by the ‘wrestling rule book’. When the bear grabbed his left, the man did a quick turn and jerk to free himself. Following this, he maintained his body balance when the bear pushed forward and never allowed the bear to gain momentum by pressing its head.

Also, he never allowed the bear to exercise the reach of its long, strong arms. Amusingly, the last frame of the video evoked ranging reactions from the fans who found both the man and bear sitting arms crossed “cool”.

Man vs. Bear, Real or Fake?; Fan’s take

While some fans found it hard to believe the authenticity of the video, some quickly discarded the idea of ever meeting a bear in a wrestling matchup. One user hinted someone was under a bear suit which might have cost them thousands of dollars.

One confident fan mentioned they were ready to turn the bear into a rug.

One user rhetorically asked whether the man had a “death wish”.

Similarly, a comment declared wrestling with a bear was akin to playing with death.

A user asked the bear to sign a “non-killing” contract as a prerequisite.

Another MMA fan comically asked to wait till the bear learned the power slap.

One user pointed out the bears were different in Russia.

Lastly, another user stated claimed that the bear was holding back.
