“I’m not here as a celebrity, I’m not here as a politician. I’m here as a mother.” That’s how Beyoncé framed her campaign rally speech for Kamala Harris last year, setting the stage for what was supposed to be a powerful political moment. But while Harris’ team was busy basking in the star power of Queen Bey, Joe Rogan was over on The Joe Rogan Experience dropping a very different kind of bombshell.
“They never committed to doing the show,” Rogan said flatly. “So all this talk there was another thing they said that the reason why they did the Beyonce thing. The Beyoncé event in Houston was so that they could be in Texas to do my show. They never agreed to do the show. None of that’s true.” The UFC commentator and podcast giant made it clear on episode #2267 with Dan Richards, Harris’ supposed attempt to appear on his show. So, was this just a scheduling mishap, or was her team hoping no one would notice the spin?
Just in case there was any doubt, Rogan doubled down. “They also said they sent someone down here to the studio to do a walkthrough of the set. That’s not true.” Now, here’s where things get even better. While Harris’ team apparently never set foot inside Rogan’s studio, Trump’s camp? Oh, they showed up. “The Trump Administration did,” Rogan confirmed, throwing in a smirk-worthy clarification. “I mean, if they are trying to say that ‘they’ as in the entire federal government, well, I don’t think the Trump administration… well, I guess the Secret Service is a part of the federal government—maybe you can kinda get away with saying that.”

And now, as speculation swirls, thanks to the new book “FIGHT: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House” that Harris’ team had tried (and failed) to secure a JRE appearance, Rogan isn’t just setting the record straight. He’s making sure everyone knows exactly where he stands. But was this really just about political maneuvering, or was Rogan more involved in the game than he’s letting on?

Was it ever really about Joe Rogan, or just politics as usual?
If Harris’ team never actually locked in a Joe Rogan interview, then why go out of their way to make it seem like they were juggling schedules? Ah, now we’re getting to the fun part. Reports suggest that Harris’ strategists saw Rogan’s massive audience. To be exact, millions of young male voters. A golden ticket to connect with a demographic she’s struggled to win over. But as the campaign trail heated up, other priorities, like, say, a star-studded Houston event with Beyoncé, took center stage.
But here’s where the math doesn’t quite add up. Was the Beyoncé event actually the reason Harris ghosted Rogan’s podcast, or was it just a convenient excuse after realizing that a sit-down with the UFC-loving, no-nonsense podcast host might not be the smoothest PR move? By all means, ‘Thank you Beyoncé‘, for providing the perfect political cover.
Now, about that FIGHT book and its claims that Elon Musk and Dana White somehow played a role in Harris’ JRE absence. But how much of that should we actually believe?

Given Musk’s habit of wading into political debates (and his well-documented bromance with Rogan), it’s not wild to think he might have had thoughts on a Harris interview. And then there’s UFC head honcho Dana White, whose UFC ties with Rogan and loyalty to Trump are no secret. So sure, on paper, you could spin a juicy narrative. But the reality? Rogan has always maintained that he’ll interview anyone, as long as they genuinely want to have an open, unfiltered conversation. And if Harris’ team didn’t figure it out, well, that’s on them.
Now what do we have? A debate over what could have been, and a clear contrast in strategy between two political figures. So what do you think? Did Harris’ team fumble the bag, or was this just a scheduling issue blown out of proportion? And do you buy into the Musk-Dana White angle, or is that just a convenient conspiracy?
