“That’s Fast as F**k…”: Joe Rogan Heaps Praise on Elon Musk’s Tesla Model 3 After Being Left in Awe of the Car

Joe Rogan is a man of good taste. The UFC commentator has found his success in the world of UFC, stand-up comedy, and podcasts. Being the successful personality that he is, Rogan doesn’t think twice before indulging in buying a few toys. A Tesla Model S, a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, and a 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray – these are some of the cars that Rogan owns.

The podcast host has a lot of respect for Elon Musk and had him over on his podcast as a guest on numerous occasions. But Rogan’s love for cars is not restricted to his own lineup of toys. When UFC bantamweight champ Sean O’Malley and his coach Tim Welch came on the podcast as guests, Rogan joined them in discussing Musk’s brainchild Tesla, and a particular model that fascinates both Rogan and Welch.

Joe Rogan recalls a story about a Tesla Model 3

Throughout the podcast episode, Rogan, O’Malley, and Welch spoke about a variety of topics. However, when the conversation came to Tesla and what Elon Musk had done for the company, all three of them had nothing but the best things to say about him. Then, Rogan proceeded to ask Welch what car he drives. To this, O’Malley’s coach replied that he drove a Tesla Model 3.

“That’s fast as f**k too. That’s a  – that’s a great car for the value.“, exclaimed Rogan, who was evidently impressed with the car model in question. He then proceeded to recall a particular story that involved a Tesla Model 3. “Oh my God! I was at a – I was at a red light and I was [inaudible] – I was in my GT3RS (Porsche) which sounds f*****g insane and this – this Model 3 just went [makes a schwoop noise]… took off ahead of me and I was like [inaudible],” recalled the UFC commentator.

A lot of fans might not have known this about the podcast host but Joe Rogan does like cars. He might not have a garage filled with the best rims but his collection is also quite impressive.

Rogan doesn’t trust Elon Musk’s Tesla completely?

The Tesla that Rogan owns is roughly about $87,499. That is a big investment, which means that Rogan definitely saw potential in that car and trusted the brand to an extent to buy such an expensive car. However, it seems that might not be the case in its entirety. In episode #1998 of The Joe Rogan Experience, the host opened up about not trusting the Tesla cars completely.

“Yeah, I don’t trust it. I have it, I don’t trust it. Yeah, I have a Tesla. Answer the address you want to go to, press auto navigate. Here, stops at red light. You are suppose to keep your hand at the wheel though. Just in case.”, Rogan had argued, further adding that the feature could be quite dangerous.

From the look of things, it seems that Joe Rogan takes favorably to the idea that Tesla has brought but doesn’t completely trust the auto-pilot feature. But how does that fare with Elon Musk?
