Edgar also revealed that he also has back issues. He had to undergo back surgeries when he was 18. However, he is currently experiencing “nerve issues” on the other side of his back. It has progressively worsened over years. Thus, he said he is in the process of figuring out if surgery is required or if a less invasive remedy would work.

He said, “It’s just getting progressively worse. So, it’s something I need to address. I actually have an appointment to get it checked out.”

The bantamweight fighter started his MMA career in 2005 and joined UFC in 2007. He has had a great long career. For a fighter, it is common to put their bodies through a lot. It looks like Edgar is experiencing repercussions of the same. His fans hope he takes care of his health and comes back with a bang!
