“That’s a Guy Who Went to Jail” – Joe Rogan Reveals Honest Opinion on Neighbor Matthew McConaughey & Robert Downey Jr.

Joe Rogan, being a famous personality and having done so much work, has had the opportunity to meet other accomplished people. From athletes and comedians to actors, he has had conversations with many interesting people. One such person he met was the actor, Matthew McConaughey.

‘The Dark Tower’, ‘The Sea of Trees’ and ‘Serenity’ are some of McConaughey’s movies.

In episode #1856, Rogan spoke to Nate Bargatze about meeting the famous actor once.

Rogan and his guest were talking about meeting famous people and that’s when the podcaster shared details about McConaughey and said, “But then you can meet some and then you are like, pleasantly surprised. It’s worth the risk.”

“Like, I’ve met some famous people, and it’s like weird when you meet them. Like you, like uncomfortable, you feel strange. And then you go, ‘oh, he’s just a person. He’s a person like me…”

“Like Matthew McConaughey is a great example. I’ve had dinner with Matthew McConaughey and his wife. And my wife. And he’s so nice. He’s so interesting. And he’s so genuine, like a genuine guy.”

“And you know, I’m like ‘oh, you’re f**king just a super movie star famous guy, but you’re a f**king regular guy underneath all that craziness.”

Interestingly, Matthew McConaughey and Rogan are neighbors.

Similarly, Rogan was of the opinion that Robert Downey Jr. too was a great guy. He said, “Robert Downey Jr. is another one. F**king great guy, man. Sit and talk to him. Robert Downey Jr. is interesting too because that’s a guy who went to jail.”
