Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov are among the first to spring to mind when discussing the biggest UFC rivalry. ‘The Notorious’ and ‘The Eagle’ are openly antagonistic and have no respect for limits. This rivalry has been subject to practically everything negative, including maligning, fights, and arrests.
The two squared off in the UFC ring in the UFC’s biggest PPV event, UFC 229, where Nurmagomedov won the bout against McGregor with fourth-round submission. However, the dust has not settled yet on the Irishman’s side.

Conor McGregor labels Khabib Nurmagomedov as ‘a rat’
Conor McGregor has a reputation for speaking out in the open without hesitation. In his recent tweets, McGregor targets his prime adversary, Khabib Nurmagomedov, where the Irishman compares himself to a lion and the Russian to a rat.
“The lion king chills. Unscathed. They’ll do nothin. Wait an I get up Im gonna and batter the whole family. On top of the cage, the lot. That’s a f*ckin lion chillin right there. and a rat knawing.” McGregor tweeted.

Conor McGregor certainly has a knack for getting people’s attention and generating headlines. And he does not hold back even a bit while doing so. His words are as blunt as they can get.
McGregor looks for better fighters
In a tweet, now deleted, Conor McGregor showed interest in a rematch with The Eagle. He wrote, “I fight on! Your fathers plan is never complete because you quit and ran, brother. God bless.”
“I’m still here if you wanna go again. But your fear of defeat means you’ve already lost. Run from it all you want. We all lose in the end. Death takes us all. I fear nothing but God.”
However, seems like ‘The Notorious’ has changed his mind ever since. After putting out a series of tweets earlier today, stating there are way better fighters out there.
