Michael Bisping and Vitor Belfort went against each other back in 2013 at UFC on FX 7. Belfort rose victorious over Bisping with a KO in round two and Bisping walked out with a detached retina. The news about Belfort injuring his eye spread like wildfire. When it was revealed that Belfort underwent TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy), ‘The Count’ repeatedly dissed his former opponent. However, there may be more to it.

After about a decade, the MMA world was sent on a trip back to the past as the fans remembered ‘The Phenom’ and his prowess. When an article turned up on Reddit, the MMA world witnessed a new development in the story. The fans went over the comments section and expressed themselves.

Recently, an article turned up on Reddit that revealed what Bisping said about ten years ago on ‘The MMA Hour’, following his fight with Belfort. Therein the fighter claimed that Belfort injured his eye.

The Reddit post claimed that Bisping’s eye was already damaged before he landed in the Octagon against Belfort and Alan Belcher. Therefore, the netizens came to the conclusion that Bisping apparently lied about the situation when he turned up wearing an eye-patch to ‘The MMA Hour’. The caption to the post read, “Bisping lied about Vitor injuring his eye.”
