Former five-time UFC champion Tyron Woodley spoke out via FightHype TV and talked about the devastating loss he suffered recently. ‘The Chosen One’ was knocked out cleanly by Jake Paul, who landed a picture-perfect overhand right in round number 6. Paul was setting up the one-hitter quitter throughout the fight and successfully put out Woodley who crashed on the canvas.

In fact, Woodley’s fall on the canvas was akin to how Nate Robinson was knocked out. There was a lot of chatter after the contest regarding the legacy that Tyron Woodley has left behind with his recent run. Woodley tried to clear the air and gave his respect to Paul who was able to get the better of him.

“Appreciate the love, Appreciate the support. That sh*t fu**ing sucked. I felt like I was winning the fight. I don’t know why the fu*k I dropped I dropped my hands. Gotta respect my homie, caught me slipping, dropped my hands and landed a clean shot.”

‘The Chosen One’ also revealed what he said to Jake Paul before both men stepped into the squared circle. Woodley said that he promised to bring war to Paul’s doorstep and was satisfied by the way he challenged ‘The Problem Child’.

“I said it was going to be war tomorrow night. It wasn’t going to be a short fight. I said ‘People going to respect you after this but you going to be in war. I’m going to try to fu*king hurt you. I told him that to his face… It only takes one shot. Had he dropped his hands against me, same sh*t would have happened.”

Not to mention, Woodley has barely managed to win any rounds in all of these defeats. For the most part, they have been one-sided beatdowns with Woodley’s opponents swinging the hammer.
