The UFC commentator’s podcast show, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, is in fact a platform for him to talk about various topics. One such matter was pool, when he invited a professional player, Fedor Gorst, to the podcast. However, some news can make even Rogan gasp in shock.

Recently, the famed commentator and Gorst talked about pool and gambling linked to the sport. However, the massive cash in bets and winnings took the podcaster to a world of shock.

During their talks, Rogan playfully asked Gorst about the time he spent playing pool. The player replied that it actually depended on his tournament schedule. Furthermore, he said, “I’m not an action player that play all day, every day.”
The 55-year-old podcaster was quick to notice what the pool player meant by ‘action player’. He confirmed if that meant gambling, and Gorst had nothing to do but admit.
However, he considered himself to be a ‘tournament professional player’. Nonetheless, he revealed that he played some matches with massive bets. This intrigued Rogan. He asked about the biggest bet that Gorst ever played.
The 22-year-old pool professional replied, “The biggest amount that I ever won was $51,000 from one guy. It was this year. But it was, we played by the rack. So, we, we started off at playing like a thousand-a-rack, and then we increased.” Rogan was left in awe.
He exclaimed, “$51,000 dollars in a day! That’s nice! That must have been sick!”

Rogan has shown his interest in the pool numerous times. However, the fact that the sport is not as popular as others seemingly saddens him. To help the pool overcome the unpopularity, the former Fear Factor host revealed a plan he intended to work upon.
Rogan revealed, “I’ve been trying to figure out ideas to make Pool more popular. I think the best one is me do commentary because I can’t play in a tournament, but I can. You know, I can play good enough that I understand what’s going on.” Without a doubt, Rogan’s involvement in any sport can lift it up higher.
