Joe Rogan started his career as a stand-up comedian in the late 1980s. He went on to become a successful TV host and a UFC commentator. He became a podcasting pioneer with his podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’. Despite being extremely successful in his podcasting career, Rogan has not moved away from his love for stand-up comedy. He recently opened his club in Austin, Texas, that holds stand-up comedy events. The club is named Comedy Mothership. The 55-year-old has now showered praise on the club’s crowd in a recent episode of his podcast.

In episode 1957 of the podcast, the JRE host invited comedian Shane Gillis. The latter had performed at the Comedy Mothership the previous day, and it appeared that he loved the experience. Gillis agreed with Rogan‘s opinion and was happy about the way he was received in the club.

The UFC commentator has been very interested in his new venture. He had even performed in the club himself while reportedly being ‘drunk’ and ‘high’. Talking to Shane Gillis, the former Fear Factor host asked him about his experience, Gillis answered, I get uncomfortable doing it like that I get a standing ovation when I walked out, I was like alright, you see me I looked up.” It was here that Rogan expressed his appreciation for his club’s crowd.

He said, That mot******ng crowd is like magic, it’s like a magic right away, from the jump there were a lot of people on the show too, it was a long a** show and then Dave goes up and last night for the first time, the place is pretty sick”.

Joe Rogan’s club is the talk of the town

Comedy Mothership has been very popular since its inception. The club has been said to be an anti-cancel culture. Experts had predicted that it might be tough for the club to become big in Austin given the low population, but the results have been different. The club has had a very good reception and has become the talk of the town.

Any club’s success depends a lot on its patrons. Comedy clubs especially need audiences that understand the craft. Joe Rogan takes great pride in his new venture. He has been successful in multiple different industries and will like to add another feather to his cap with his new venture.
