Besides his own podcast, Joe Rogan is also seen appearing as a guest in podcasts of other prominent names in the world of media and entertainment. Recently, he turned up for a virtual interview on the Oil and Whiskey channel on YouTube. The session went on for nearly two hours.
When the host started talking about loudmouths and people talking the big talk, Joe Rogan chimed in with his opinion on the matter. “UFC fighters are some of the f*****g nicest people in the world. They’re some of the coolest, friendliest.. Have you ever Israel Adesanya in real life? You would never imagine that guy’s one of the baddest motherf******s on Earth. You would think oh well, look at this cool guy. He’s so friendly, so normal. Meanwhile, he’s just a straight-up assassin.” said Rogan, using the UFC Middleweight champ Israel Adesanya‘s example to show the contrasting nature between what UFC fighters are inside the ring, and their behavior outside of it.
“It’s just like those guys – they get humbled. They get humbled on a daily basis, just through training. And even when they win, you know they’re just happy to celebrate the accomplishment but then, it’s like – back to the process.” he added.

No matter how fierce the competition or how intense the verbal feud is between Adesanya and his opponents, the Middleweight champion is also a ‘straight-up‘ gentleman. He recently squashed his beef with the UFC Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones saying “Real recognizes real”. In fact, he even offered advice and valuable insight to his old rival Alex Pereira ahead of his fight against Jan Blachowicz. The Middleweight champion has faced both. He lost his first Light Heavyweight fight to Blachowicz and recently won back the Middleweight title from Alex Pereira.
The upcoming fight between Robert Whittaker and Dricus du Plessis might give us the next challenger for the Middleweight title. As for Pereira vs. Adesanya, the Stylebender has revealed that he has no intention of fighting Pereira again unless it’s for the Light Heavyweight title.
