After getting inducted into the modern wing of the UFC Hall of Fame back in January 2023, Jose Aldo has finally joined the other UFC legends. When he shared the proud moment on Twitter, the fans welcomed him with nothing but cheers and gratitude for the entertainment he provided with his mesmerizing fights.

The dreams of mixed martial artists often begin with the desire to wear the UFC championship belt. However, that is not the highest peak the fighters can climb. After becoming a champion, the dreams grow, and the desire to enter the Hall of Fame begins to rise. And when the fighters are inducted, they can’t help but feel overwhelmed with emotions. Aldo also felt the same when he walked onto the stage and broke down in tears of joy and pride.

Soon after claiming his place at the modern wing of the UFC Hall of Fame, ‘Junior Mac’ shared a picture of himself, holding the memento in his hand. The fighter indeed wore the moment proudly. He then captioned, “Thanks for everything! #HallOfFame”

As soon as the fighter released the post, the combat sports world poured into the comments section and congratulated the former UFC champion.

The fans expressed their gratitude to the fighter, for all the fights he entertained them with.

Many netizens believed that the induction was well deserved.

Some fans congratulated the Brazilian warrior for his amazing career and wished him all the best for his future endeavors.

Furthermore, the MMA fans recollected Aldo’s young days, when he was an absolute beast.

No one was prouder or more emotional than the ‘Junior Mac’ himself. As he walked up to the stage, he let his tears of joy out as he embraced his entry into the Hall of Fame.

Aldo’s dream came true

In a conversation with ESPN, the former UFC champion and one of the newest Hall of Famers revealed that it was indeed an emotional moment for him.

He said, “It’s very emotional, very hard to explain. Ever since I wanted to come to the UFC, [I wanted to] be a champion, and I got so much more. So, this is a lot of dreams coming through at the same time.”
