Super Bowl 59 recorded an instance where a vociferous section of the Philadelphia Eagles fans booed Taylor Swift at their game against the Kansas Chiefs. After all, the pop star is dating Travis Kelce, the tight end for the Chiefs. It was a tale of two tapes to witness the crowd cheering Donald Trump to booing Swift in a matter of moments. Nevertheless, the musician has found a safe place in the UFC. Well, we’re not talking about Luke Rockhold re-entering the picture with Swift. But it include a retired mixed martial artist.

On 13 February 2025, the famed sports reporter, writer, and producer, Helen Yee, shared a clip of her brief interaction with the former UFC heavyweight champion, Stipe Miocic. And guess what they talked about… Bullseye! It was indeed Taylor Swift. Yee pointed her finger at Miocic’s daughter and tried to confirm if she was a Swifty. ‘The Silencer’ admitted, “Yeah, I guess you could say she is a Swifty.”

But a surge of shock mixed with joy went through the fighting community when Yee asked Miocic about his favorite Taylor Swift song. ‘Stone Cold’ replied, “Blank Space,” and sang a couple of lines. “I can read you like a magazine. Funny. Rumors fly…”

Yee then sang a verse from ‘Teardrops On My Guitar’, and was countered by Miocic singing ‘Look What You Made Me Do.’ This garnered a compliment from the reporter, claiming that Miocic was a good singer. But the former UFC champion was too humble. He replied, “I don’t know. I can’t even talk. So, let’s not go that far.”

There are a few more instances where Swift received support from unexpected sources. Another unusual football star expressed his support for the pop star. And it was none other than the Philadelphia Eagles running back, Saquon Barkley. Let’s see what the Eagle had to say about Swift.

Saquon Barkley condemns jeers aimed at Taylor Swift, says she helped make “the game bigger”

Right after winning Super Bowl 59, Barkley called out at the undeserving hate that the pop star received at the finals. Talking to Howard Stern, the Eagles’ running back said, “I will say this though: They showed her on the jumbotron. She got booed. I don’t get it. I don’t get why she was getting hate there. Yeah, she’s just there supporting her significant other, and she’s made the game bigger. We’re all about how can we expand the game and make it more international. And we’re traveling to Brazil. We’re traveling to Mexico. Her being a part of this is only helping us. So I don’t get the dislike that she’s given.”
