KSW’s final card of the year, 2022, proved exciting as the main event along with two title fights offered the fans fireworks. The main event, involving two superstars of the promotion, turned out a one-sided affair. Notably, the former two-division champion Mamed Khalidov moved up in division and squared off with the five-time World’s Strongest Man winner Mariusz Pudzianowski. Markedly, Khalidov tapped his powerhouse opponent within two minutes of round 1, thus racking an incredible win on Saturday night in Gliwice, Poland.

Khalidov, a middleweight fighter, moved in weight to face the heavyweight force, Pudzianowski, who was riding on a 5-win momentum. However, while the fight seemed balanced initially, the landscape changed drastically as Khalidov clinched his opponent in a tight grip and successfully attempted a takedown near the cage.

Afterward, Khalidov got the back of his Polish opponent and what followed was carnage. Due to the highly intense and powerful punches, the heavyweight formidable opponent tapped out after facing the full blunt. Thus, the super fight ended in an unusual tap-out after the noted MMA referee Marc Goddard stepped in to stop Khalidov.
