Israel Adesanya is one of the greatest UFC fighters of this generation. Meanwhile, Bradley Martyn has also successfully made his name in MMA, especially because he claims that he can defeat professional fighters. The middleweight champion who had 12 victories in a row recently revealed that the social media personality wanted to fight him at a house party.

The ‘Last Stylebender’ made the revelation on the Mighty Cast podcast with Demetrious Johnson. However, Bradley Martyn was also not quiet as he recently posted some evidence on his X account where the narrative looks a bit different.

In the video of the interview, Adesanya revealed, “When Jake fought Nate Robinson, I met Jake Paul at the hotel and then he invited me to his house. I get there, crazy. This was during COVID-19 times. There’s a ring in the backyard and I got word through someone that, ‘oh, this guy is trying to get Izzy in the ring’ and I said, ‘Nah, I’m just here to have fun, I ain’t doing none of that’.”

It was Martyn who was apparently asking about the fight, and that was when Adesanya commented that Martyn was not worthy enough to step inside the ring with him. This did not sit well with the social media influencer and he decided to respond via his X account by giving a screenshot of a text that he sent to Israel Adesanya on Instagram in November 2020. The text read, “Yo. Good meeting u last night. If you come back to la anytime would love to shoot some stuff with you.” Martyn captioned the post as, Who said it? Do you mean this night? All I was doing was showing you love. Fighters sound hurt. I guess we all just clout chasing now.”

It is not unknown that Martyn gave a challenge to multiple fighters stating that his 260-pound frame could take over any professional fighter. However, it seems like Adesanya did not view him as a worthy opponent.

Bradley Martyn’s history of challenging various fighters

Bradley Martyn has called out several MMA and UFC fighters in the past. The bodybuilding social media star did not impress the critics because they distinguish the fact that muscle mass might be impressive, but it does not translate to a good fighting capability. He even posted this question about his strength to Nate Diaz, Sean O’Malley, and Merab Dvalishvili.

‘Sugar’ considered the technical aspects such as the fight location and physique size.  O’Malley finally decided that he had the skills to win over the bodybuilder in a street fight. Even Diaz showed his confidence that he would win in a fight with the social media star.
