The MMA fandom isn’t pleased with Conor McGregor’s latest sighting at Bellator Dublin! The Irish MMA icon had caused a frenzy amongst the fans with the news of his withdrawal from his UFC 303 bout against Michael Chandler. Initially, all that was known about the setback was that McGregor had suffered from an undisclosed injury, and in his update on social media, he stated, “I picked up an injury before the press conference that required more time to heal than was available to me. The decision to postpone the fight was not made lightly, but one made in consultation with my doctors, the UFC, and my team.”
However, the situation finally received some much-needed clarity as ‘The Notorious’ recently stated on Instagram, “We had a lapse in concentration and engaged in a training session without wearing the full protective gear and I hit the toe off the elbow and broke the toe clean.” He further went on to explain that the injury needs “a few weeks” time to heal and that he’ll be back soon but didn’t clarify the exact timeline for his return.
