But the record for both the fighters remained unchanged as the fight ended in a majority draw, leaving fans in fumes as they believed ‘The Korean Superboy’ clearly won the fight.
What happened in the fight?
In the first round, Kyle Nelson caught Doo-ho in his hold, with the latter struggling to keep up. But the tables turned rather quickly as ‘The Korean Superboy’ then got ‘The Monster’ in his hold and maintained his dominance thereafter.
The second round started out with some impressive kicks and jabs from both ends. But Nelson came in strong with a blow that pushed the Doo-ho to the cage. Nelson then landed a strong knee kick subsequently. Doo-ho tried to go for a fatal takedown after that, but couldn’t hold the Canadian for long enough. The round got intensified with time as we witnessed some explosive blows from both sides, but neither of them fell short by any means. And that called for yet another round between the featherweight powerhouses.
The third round rolled in with Nelson attempting for a takedown right away, but it wasn’t a straightforward task. ‘The Korean Superboy’ persisted his hardest against ‘The Monster’ but that didn’t stop the latter, who then put him down to the ground with a solid takedown, capitalizing on the dominance of the moment.
The third round then got called for a stoppage as Choi Doo-ho happened to headbutt Kyle Nelson. The former lost a good point there as a result. They resumed the round right after with Nelson trying to take down the Korean yet again, who then landed some effective punches on the Canadian to escape his hold, but the round called for the conclusion then.
The fight at UFC Vegas 68 hence went for the majority draw thereafter, having the record of both the fighters at the same.

Tognoni takes a point away from Choi for the clashing of heads.
Choi did not manage his weapons safely and that results in both a loss of position and a point deduction.
