Former UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor is making his long awaited UFC comeback. In addition, McGregor will make his UFC comeback after his horrific leg break as a coach in the upcoming TUF season 31. He will be coaching against Michael Chandler and in pure Conor McGregor fashion, there is controversy. Furthermore, there are rumors that McGregor is playing favorites in choosing his team by picking a few fighters of his choice over UFC’s recommendation or choice.
BJJ GOAT Gordon Ryan shared his vision for TUF, proposing that he coaches Michael Chandler while Danis coaches Conor McGregor. He envisions a post-McGregor vs. Chandler fight where the two coaches face each other in a UFC Fight Pass event. However, he has doubts about Danis, whether he will show up or not.
In response to the controversy surrounding McGregor’s coaching style, he has denied cutting any fighters to select his preferred combatants. However, fans and experts are not convinced by it. Recently, a UFC champion shared his thoughts on the whole controversy.
