Bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley seems to have something special in store for Mexican Independence Day, the day when UFC 306 will take place. As he gears to take on Merab Dvalishvili, ‘Suga’ had an interview just a couple of days before this headlining event, indicating that there will be some reference to Mexico, which is the theme of the whole pay-per-view.

Sean O’Malley has become quite the superstar as a UFC champion as Buffalo Bills’ Spencer Brown recently revealed to be a big fan of the ‘Suga Show’. Just minutes after signing a new contract with the NFL outfit, the offensive tackle decided to ask the UFC champion if he had anything planned for his appearance, especially his hairstyle, for the upcoming title defense. Well, O’Malley started off by talking about the hairstyling process, which he gets done by his wife Danya Gonzalez. He revealed that it takes almost half a day to get his hair done.

“The hair, so my girl does my hair. It usually takes about anywhere from 8 to 10 hours. So, we split it up between two days, so tomorrow, I’m going to sit in the chair for about four or five hours,” Sean O’Malley told the Buffalo Bills on YouTube. As for what he’s got planned for his hairstyle, ‘Suga’ isn’t too sure about it but he did mention that he will give a nod to the nation of Mexico by putting on their national colors.

“There will be a little pink in there. Maybe a little red for the Mexican part of the whole thing. Little green there. I kind of have an idea of what they’re going to do but for the most part, I sit down, I’m gonna shut up, I’m gonna be playing Madden [NFL],” Sean O’Malley added. We don’t know exactly when this interview with the Buffalo Bills took place because it seems like we already have the answer as to which hairstyle ‘Suga’ is going to sport at UFC 306.

Ahead of the UFC 306 PPV, the promotion dropped their usual ‘Embedded Vlogs’ on YouTube, where O’Malley seemed to be getting his done by Danya for the Merab Dvalishvili fight, and he dyed his hair with the pink, green and blue colors. His wife also shared a post a couple of days ago of his new hairstyle and it seems that’s what he’s going to sport this weekend at the Sphere.

“Fight week ready. First big project in my new space,” Danya Gonzalez wrote on her ‘Hairapy by Danya’ Instagram account. We don’t know how the fight against Merab Dvalishvili will end, but Sean O’Malley will surely impress his fans with his new hairstyle. Would you agree with this assessment?
