Stipe Miocic last competed in the UFC at the UFC 260 event against Francis Ngannou. Miocic lost that fight after being knocked out in the second round. Francis Ngannou became the latest UFC Heavyweight champion and Stipe Miocic hasn’t competed since then.
Many fans and critics thought that Miocic’s smaller body frame ,compared to Ngannou, was one reason he lost. ‘The Predator’ seemed to be towering over Miocic during their last fight. However now Miocic seems to be getting ready to take back the UFC title by bulking up himself.
Recently, Miocic took to Instagram to share a picture of him in which he seems much bulkier than before. Miocic posted the picture with a quote from Chinese author Deng Ming-Dao. It read, “Some Warriors look fierce but are mild. Some seem timid but are vicious. Look beyond appearances; position yourself for the advantage.”

At 6 ft 4, the fighter is as tall as anyone in the heavyweight division. However, it was the weight and body size that seemed like a bit of a disadvantage for Miocic. However, his latest picture shows how much Miocic has bulked up since his fight with Ngannou. Miocic seems well prepared and seems ready to get back to the Octagon as soon as possible.
What next for Stipe Miocic?
Since the fight between Miocic and Ngannou ended, there has been much speculation on what is next in the heavyweight division. There was much speculation that Jon Jones would face the winner of the Ngannou vs. Miocic fight. However, that ship seems to have sailed. Now Derrick Lewis seems to be getting ready to face Francis Ngannou for the Heavyweight title.

That leaves Stipe Miocic. Some fans believed that at 38 years of age may be Miocic was even considering retirement. However, that clearly is not the case, Miocic will most certainly be getting his title rematch in the near future. Even UFC President Dana White said that Miocic will most probably face the winner of the Lewis vs. Ngannou fight.
Miocic seems bulked up and ready to get back to action. And we as fans are eagerly waiting for our favorite fighter to step back into the Octagon.
