Former UFC title challenger, Chael Sonnen took to social media and revealed that his rival Jon Jones had blocked him. Both men have gone back and forth on Twitter on several occasions and nothing was off-limits. In fact, they even hurled jabs about each other’s wives. However, it appears that Jones, who has had enough, blocked Sonnen on Twitter to prevent any further contact.
In typical Chael Sonnen fashion, he trolled ‘Jones’ for blocking him and said that Jones lost a submission via cowardice. It’s clear as day that both men don’t have a good functional relationship and it’s just as well that they parted ways.
…And the Tap comes at 8:43, the WINNER by SUBMISSION (COWARDICE), and STILL UNDEFEATED, the BAD GUY,

Chael Sonnen vs Jon Jones: An overview
Things weren’t always so contentious between Jones and Sonnen, especially in the lead-up to their fight. Not to mention, they were quite cordial towards each other during their coaching stints on ‘The Ultimate Fighter’. In a cage-side interview with Joe Rogan to promote the show, Jon Jones described Sonnen as ‘not too bad’.
Things soured in recent years once Chael Sonnen migrated into a role as an MMA analyst and pundit. It’s safe to say that Jones didn’t appreciate certain takes of ‘The American Gangster’, leading to their eventual fallout. Chael Sonnen, who uses his YouTube platform to disparage Jones, has been relentless in his pursuit.
With reference to their recent spat, Chael Sonnen released a video where he trolled Jones for roughly 25 minutes. Following that beef, it was clear to most fans that Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen wouldn’t be making up any time soon. Their relationship has clearly reached critical mass, and it’s unlikely that they’ll be seen together in any cordial capacity.
