Where will you be 10 years down the line? This question makes everyone think, even the most famous UFC fighters. One of them is Sean O’Malley, who is 27 and already has a dilemma about what he might do in 10 years. However, he does have some plans, which he shared in his latest YouTube video.

‘Sugar’ is one of the UFC’s most famous athletes right now. However, he is also aware that this is ephemeral and he is not going to be competing in the UFC Octagon forever. He recently revealed his post-retirement plans in his podcast and the 27-year-old has decided to follow in Floyd Mayweather’s footsteps.

He said, “I’ll be damn near 40 in 10 years. Dude I love what Floyd’s doing, exhibition matches, boxing these guys, um sh** like that maybe once or twice a year. I think coaching, teaching hopefully we’ll have some studs in the UFC still doing those fight trips, fight weeks it will be fun.”

Interestingly he also previously said that he would love to KO Floyd Mayweather. During the TimboSugar Show, he said, “Like pull 2’s, like it was f*cking pretty sick. Me vs Floyd? I would love that. That would be crazy. Just get him right at the end, f*cking put him out, put him in. Exhibition sh*t? One hundred percent.”

The Montana native had also shared his retirement plans once with Michael Bisping and said something similar. He was fascinated by the mind-blowing exhibition boxing matches and wanted to do something similar post his retirement. ‘Sugar’ also shared that he would continue practicing jiu-jitsu, even if he was not inside the Octagon anymore. However, right now his concern is not just thinking about his retirement, but an injury that he has suffered before UFC 306.

The chances of getting injured with a kick to the elbow or even pulling a muscle is not uncommon during sparring sessions. It is even more crucial for the bantamweight fighter to be healthy during the fight because he is the most sought-after fighter in the UFC right now. At least Chael Sonnen believes that as he said on his YouTube channel and dismissed the fact that Conor McGregor was the top dog. Even though ‘Sugar’ might have a lot of pressure with all the eyes on him, according to the UFC veteran, this is where he thrives.

He revealed that sparring could be dangerous, even if you are training with professional partners. He hurt his foot but it has healed up according to him. Thankfully, both the fighters are still on for UFC 306. Nevertheless, do you think that this fight is going to go on without any more huddles? Tell us your opinions in the comment.
