Many people have brought up that the UFC doesn’t pay its fighters well. UFC President Dana White has also time and again, responded to the same.

However, a while ago, White and Oscar De La Hoya got into a Twitter argument. Oscar De La Hoya criticized White for his fighter’s pay. He wrote, “Hey @alexvolkanovski you just won a brutal battle for @ufc and made 1/20 of what you’re worth. @danawhite have some f**king respect for yourself and these fighters and pay these warriors what they deserve.”

Dana White was not happy about this criticism. He gave Oscar De La Hoya a sharp reply and wrote, “STFU U crack head. Faking that u had Covid and robbing me of watching u get KTFO by @vitorbelfort you should win an academy award for your hospital performance.”

However, this was not the end of their arguments. They took to their Instagram stories as well with their accusations of each other. They have also openly spoken against each other in ESPN interviews.

Recently, YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul too called out White and asked him to increase the UFC fighter’s pay. Thus, Paul and White also had a back-and-forth on the subject.

Plus, a few months back, the promoter openly addressed the topic. He spoke about how the UFC did not operate, like boxing promotions and events. He called boxing events “going out of business sale”. So it is clear that White does not exactly like the way boxing promotions work.

While it is common to see fighters have beef with one another, Dana White has also gotten into disputes with his own fighters. Demetrious Johnson had previously called out the promoter for underpaying him. Similarly, Sean O’Malley had mentioned that he wanted to get paid for what he was worth.

However, the fighter also recently came forward to back Dana White when Jake Paul was attacking him online.
