Former UFC welterweight fighter Darren Till has moved to Sweden to train with one of the best grapplers in the game Khamzat Chimaev. Both the men have been training for over a week now. They regularly upload videos and pictures of their training on social media. Besides honing their fighting skills, both the UFC combatants have also formed a friendly bond with each other.

Interestingly, amidst their training, ‘The Gorilla’ and Borz’ can be seen joking and having fun inside the gym. Recently, the famous MMA journalist Brett Okamoto posted a video on his official Instagram account in which the fighters are stick fighting inside the gym.

Okamoto also compared their bond with one of the most famous and entertaining friendship bonds between UFC legend Daniel Cormier and former lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. In the caption, Okamoto wrote, “Best MMA bromance since DC and Khabib?”

‘The Gorilla’ is currently on a two-fight skid. Also, he has won only one bout since his title fight loss in 2018. However, honing his skills with the Russian mauler might have a positive impact on Till’s future performance. And we might see him climb back into the win column.

On the other hand, ‘Borz’ has cemented his position among the top-15 of the welterweight division within two years of his debut. He has finished all his opponents via stunning finishes. And has a top-tier opponent for his next fight.

Khamzat Chimaev will be back in action against Gilbert Burns

‘Borz’ has been unstoppable since his debut in the promotion. He fought three fights in 2020 and won all of them. However, he gained huge attention from the fight fans after his dominant win at UFC 267.

Since then, fans have been waiting to see him back in action. Interestingly, the Chechen star has found an opponent who can put his skills to the test. ‘Borz’ is in talks for a fight with the number two welterweight contender, Gilbert Burns.

Both the combatants have a similar fighting style and have the potential to put up an amazing performance for the fans. Also, if Chimaev gets through ‘Durinho’ he will surely fast track his journey to the 170lbs title.
