The UFC color commentator Joe Rogan has made an enormous name for himself with his infamous JRE podcast. This podcast not only changed Rogan’s life, but also paved the way for other podcasts.
The game-changer podcast moved from YouTube to Spotify; It resulted when Spotify and Rogan made a humongous 200 million dollar deal for exclusive rights for the streaming of the podcast.

This year, the podcast host saw many famous artists protesting against him. The demand of banning the podcast from Spotify had people divided. However, Spotify stuck by its most lucrative podcast, and though, deleted some controversial episodes and added guidelines before the podcast;Spotify didn’t remove Rogan‘s podcast from its platform.
Recently, former United States President Barack Obama and his wife’s production company saw a snub from the streaming giant. Hence, many people are reacting to Spotify, keeping Rogan and banning the Obamas.

After the news of Spotify not renewing their podcast deal with the Obamas, the world compared it to Rogan’s situation earlier this year.

Anyhow, Rogan has done multiple podcasts without any halt. However, he had a hiccup in his UFC commentary role during the time of backlash.
Joe Rogan took a break from UFC 271
Rogan, who has been working with the UFC for almost forever, minimized his appearance on the PPV card as he stopped doing the PPV shows abroad. However, he’s been a staple in every UFC PPV held in the States.
Amidst all the talks of banning Rogan from Spotify, as several artists were giving threats to leave the podcast, Rogan surprisingly missed an American PPV event.

Many fighters, including Israel Adesanya and other UFC personnel, came in aid of the podcast host. Even UFC President Dana White showed his support for the veteran UFC color commentator.
Nevertheless, Rogan returned to the UFC broadcast booth the following PPV and got a huge response from the fans during the ceremonials weigh-in.
