However, Conor McGregor recently became the prime subject of a side-splitting mix-up on TV. The former Scottish footballer, Alistair McCoist, failed to recall the name of the Celtic captain, Callum McGregor and said Conor McGregor in his stead.
Ally McCoist says Conor McGregor instead of Callum McGregor
Ally McCoist appeared with the former Celtic player, Chris Sutton, on BT Sport’s Scottish Football Extra. The presenter, Emma Dodds, questioned Ally McCoist, “Four Scotland players started every game. Can you name them?” The Ibrox hero started to answer and named the goalkeeper Craig Gordan instantly.
