The world went into shock with the news about the assassination attempt on the former POTUS, Donald Trump, began circling the internet. Needless to say, the netizens and his followers took a literal sigh of relief when Trump walked out with just a flesh wound to his ear at the rally on the 13th of July. And Dana White was one of them. No doubt, the UFC head honcho was pretty worried when he heard the news. But his pride in his friend was high, as well. After all, Trump didn’t seem to be fazed by the failed assassination attempt. 

It took only moments for the former POTUS to bounce back. Nevertheless, he was rushed to the hospital following the event. Being a close friend of Trump, White felt pretty restless as he kept getting text messages while he was on a plane to Italy. As soon as the plane landed, he rang up Trump’s phone to ensure that he was okay. Without a doubt, the entire fighting community began standing up for Trump.

On the 15th of July, 2024, White sat down to talk on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’. Therein, McAfee asked White about Trump’s health and whether he wanted to go to UFC Denver, by any chance. The UFC CEO didn’t waste a single moment to say that Trump never planned on going to Denver. He blessed the arena with his presence only if White was present.

But then, the UFC boss man began to praise the former President. Let’s see what the UFC head honcho had to say about Trump after he miraculously survived the attempt on his life.

“I’ve been saying this forever about this guy, he is one of the toughest, most resilient human beings that I’ve ever met in my life,” White said. He even termed Trump as the legitimate “American bada**.” But when it was White’s narration about a 30-minute call that caught everyone’s attention.

White said, “The guy takes a shot at him. He goes down, he stands up. and then he starts chanting to the crowd, ‘Fight, fight, fight.’ I literally was blown away. I called him as soon as I landed. I called him and he was already home from the hospital, and we talked for like 30 minutes. Pat, I’m telling you, I have never known a human being like this in my life. He’s literally one of the toughest, most bada** guys of all time. And listen, you don’t like him, you could say whatever you want about him. It is undebatable now, literally undebatable.” 

White continued and talked about one of his friends ruining his mental health after a few guys tried to k**l him. But the same wasn’t true for Trump.

The UFC CEO declared that he has been associated with Trump for almost 25 years and is one of the “greatest human beings” he has ever met in his entire life. “He’s an unbelievable friend, and he’s forever now the ultimate American bada**,” said White.
