Over the past two years, Conor McGregor has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. From punching the Atlanta Hawks’ mascot, allegations of PED and drug usage, a purported bar brawl after his aunt’s funeral to the legal trouble he found himself in, McGregor has had an eventful albeit unenviable couple of years.

But, over the past few months, he has been showing a different McGregor from his usual brash self. He is expecting his fourth child with fiancee Dee Devlin this year and has been spending time with his kids. And he shared a funny fan edit of himself, referencing his kids on social media.

On his Instagram Story, Conor McGregor posted a fan edit of the ‘Notorious’ shouting instructions to his fighters on The Ultimate Fighter. McGregor appeared as a coach on this year’s season (season 31) of TUF against Michael Chandler.

The fan had taken McGregor and superimposed him on a background of a baby room. “Me letting my kids beat the absolute shit out of each other when mommmys not home” the caption read. And McGregor is shouting things such as “Good shots! Beautiful knees to the body! Back up again Back up face to face. That’s what it’s about. Put leather on him, keep putting leather on him!”. Of course, McGregor was coaching his fighter, but the edit makes it seems like he is guiding his kids on how to hit each other.

Timeline for McGregor’s return to the UFC still uncertain

Conor McGregor has been out of the octagon for over two years recovering from a broken foot he suffered in his loss against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. He was originally slated to make his comeback at UFC 296 this year and face rival TUF coach Chandler in a welterweight bout. However, recent announcements from Dana White and the UFC have confirmed that he will not return this year.

One major hurdle to his comeback that many have pointed out is USADA. The anti-doping body’s rules require a fighter to enter its testing pool at least six months before they can fight in the UFC. And McGregor reportedly is yet to enter the pool. The UFC can exempt the former two-division champion from this but has not done so yet. Amid this uncertainty, the exact date for McGregor’s comeback remains uncertain, and fans are waiting for an announcement from the UFC to clear up the issue.
