Jose Aldo is undoubtedly one of the most impressive fighters that the UFC has ever seen. The Brazilian fighter has contributed a great deal to the promotion and has also put up some amazing fights throughout his career.
Aldo is definitely one of the most skilled strikers that the sport of MMA has seen. His fighting style was unique and impressive. Aldo was well known for his speed and his powerful punches.

During his prime, he was considered to be one of the best in the business, but no king rules over his kingdom forever. Aldo suffered some nasty losses to the likes of Max Holloway, Petr Yan, and Alexander Volkanovski.
However, right now, ‘Junior’ seems to be having somewhat of a career resurgence. Jose won his last two fights against Marlon Vera and Pedro Munhoz. He showed off some incredible skills, and many fans saw a glimpse of Aldo’s prime in his recent performances.
However, former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov doesn’t feel the same about Aldo. Khabib told the press, “A guy wins one fight and everyone starts talking..” He continued to say, “I call those fighters businessmen. They come out to make money.”

Jose Aldo took his time to respond to Nurmagomedov’s comments about himself. Aldo appeared on MMA Fighting’s Portuguese-language podcast, Trocação Franca, and slammed the Dagestani.
“He’s saying you can’t peak again… Glover, who’s older than me (won). Sometimes Khabib talks too much. He’s not doing much these days, he’s retired, so he’s looking for (attention) that way.”

On the podcast Trocação Franca, Jose Aldo made another shocking remark. He revealed that the UFC had offered him a title match against Khabib. But the Russian ducked the former featherweight champion.
“The [UFC] had offered me this fight and we took it.” I was the featherweight champion, and [Nurmagomedov] didn’t think it was a good [idea]. I don’t know if he was expecting to fight somebody else. I don’t know what he was thinking at the time, I think it could have been a great fight.” said Aldo.
Jose Aldo will return to action very soon, on the first weekend of December. Aldo will be taking on Rob Font in the main event of at the UFC’s apex facility in Las Vegas. If Jose Aldo manages to be victorious, he will be one step closer to proving Khabib wrong.
