Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have found themselves in the midst of another controversy, as reports emerge that they are suing the popular American satire show ‘South Park’ for seemingly mocking them in a recent episode. The couple is no stranger to controversy, having made headlines in the past for their royal exit, interviews, and various other endeavors. And on the recent episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience,’ the former Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s news of suing ‘South Park’ became an unexpected topic of discussion.

As usual, the UFC commentator and his friends gathered to chat about almost every random topic, and when they stumbled upon the news about ‘South Park,’ Joe Rogan, who was previously unaware of the situation, couldn’t help but react with disbelief and amusement. To him, the idea of the ex-Royal couple taking legal action against a satirical TV show seemed quite bizarre. Hence, he couldn’t help but poke fun at Harry and Meghan over this.

Joe Rogan laughs off at the ex-Royal couple over the ‘South Park’ reports

In episode #1946 of the JRE, a group of fellow comedians and podcasters joined the UFC commentator. During their conversation, Rogan mentioned his love for unconventional things, including the popular American satire show ‘South Park’. However, the mood quickly shifted when one of the guests broke the news that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were reportedly suing the show for mocking them.

Joe Rogan couldn’t believe what he was hearing and expressed his disbelief, saying, “Are you suing ‘South Park’? *in a mocking way* Really? Really? Really?”

He further took a snide jab at Harry and Meghan by stating, “You know what’s going on? Someone wanted a lot of attention and now they got it.”

However, owing to all the speculations, the ex-Royal couple had come out clean and put forth their stance on the matter.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle break silence on the lawsuit rumors

Despite the widespread mockery and disbelief, as reported by The Guardian, the spokesperson speaking on behalf of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has denounced the rumors about the couple suing ‘South Park’ for their portrayal.

According to the spokesperson, the couple is not furious about their depiction in the show, and any reports claiming otherwise are ‘frankly nonsense’. The spokesperson went on to call the rumors ‘totally baseless’ and ‘boring reports’. It seems that the couple’s stance on the matter is quite different from what was initially reported.

This certainly throws the speculation trail for a loop. However, the former Royal couple can’t seem to escape controversy lately. It appears that everything they do puts them under scanner one or the other way, regardless.
