In a recent interview with Daniel Cormier, Michael Chandler indulged in a conversation relating to the recent announcement by the Irishman regarding the potential match-up between him and McGregor. Michael Chandler confidently specified that he is even ready to fight him if he comes tomorrow, he stated that “For me, you know I’m ready. I’m staying in shape. If it could happen by the end of the year, that would be phenomenal, you know I’m ready tomorrow”

As the conversation progressed, he emphasized whether McGregor is training or not. He stated, “Is he training? I don’t know how much he’s training. We see him on boats more than we see him hitting bags.”

As the conversation moved forward he added that the matchup will be phenomenal if it happens. “Either way the most exciting guy in the sport vs the biggest star of sports and the greatest comeback in the combat sports history people are gonna tune it”

Given the circumstances, it must have been disappointing news for White that ‘The Notorious’ missed his USADA deadline. However, in a recent interview, the 55-year-old executive exuded confidence in McGregor’s return as per the scheduled date. McGregor, who had been relatively quiet about this matter until now, also broke his silence recently and took the opportunity to name three opponents of his preference.

McGregor’s exact words were, “Chandler next, December. And then Gaethje ‘BMF’. And then we’ll do Nate trilogy.”
