The former UFC welterweight contender, Mike Perry, was an absolute force during his prime days at the promotion. However, after losing seven of his last ten bouts at the UFC, Perry announced his exit from the promotion. ‘Platinum’ moved from the UFC to the Welterweight division of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.
During his time with UFC, Mike Perry won the Fight of the Night award twice. He also won the performance of the night award for his bouts against Jake Ellenberger and Alex Reyes. His last UFC bout was earlier this year, in April. He took on Daniel Rodriguez and lost the fight following a unanimous decision. As of November 2021, his professional MMA record stands at 14 wins to 8 losses.
