One of the greatest disappointments that UFC 303 faced was the cancelation of the fight between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler. The Irishman was supposed to make a return to the Octagon after staying away from the promotion for 3 years. Despite the sky-high excitement among the fans for his much-anticipated return, the ‘Mystic Mac’ was forced to pull out of the fight because of a broken toe. But now, the fight fans have begun questioning the fighter’s injury.

Needless to say, the not-so-notorious withdrawal sent shockwaves throughout the world of mixed martial arts and extracted reactions from fans and professionals alike. He even shared a picture to authenticate the injury. However, McGregor has repeatedly made the fight fans question the status of his injury. During the post-fight press conference for UFC 303, the UFC head honcho, Dana White, was asked for the same, but he refused to even talk about the ‘Mystic Mac’ and his injury.

Recently, McGregor visited Switzerland and treaded up the Glacier 3000 stairs, trying to get to the bridge that sits at an altitude of 9,842 ft. He shared the moment on Instagram and captioned, “Who gets higher than the Mac Daddy? #Glacier3000”

Without wasting a single moment, the fight fans leaped onto the comments and started questioning the authenticity of McGregor’s injured toe. One of the fans commented, “Some broken toe brother,” while another wrote, “But his toe was like a balloon.” A few others dropped down comments like, “Thought his toe was f***ed up,” and “Thought he was injured ?

A few of the fans poked fun at the Irish fighter, claiming that his toe was healed now. One comment read, “Look me toe feels better,” and was followed by a couple of laughing emojis. Another fan wrote, “I guess his toes are good now.” Some of the fans believed that ‘The Notorious’ made the tread just because his toe was feeling better. A comment read, “That toe must be feeling better!”

One of the fans seemed to believe that if the ‘Mystic Mac’ can walk with his injury, he should also be able to fight. The fan commented, “He can walk with a broken pinky, so he can fight with it too.” Meanwhile, another account speculated that it was a plan by the UFC CEO to put McGregor at UFC 306. The comment went, “Is he injured or dana wanted the fight for ufc 306.”
