Conor McGregor is not only a double-weight class champion but he is also one of the best fighters in UFC. Unfortunately, he did have some setbacks in his career during 2020 and 2021, which might be because of Dana White. But now he is back for another challenge and will fight  Michael Chandler in UFC 303. ‘The Notorious’ started 2020 with a 40-second knockout over Donald Cerrone.

However, this did not become one of his consistent runs that he had promised, and despite pushing for more bouts, he was sidelined for the rest of the year. More than the fighters, the situation was also to blame because there was a lack of live crowds due to the COVID-19 pandemic. According to Chael Sonnen, McGregor got his heroic moment during the Cerrone fight and might get it again. Let’s see what the former UFC fighter had to say.

Sonnen stated with the hit news that McGregor wants to fight three times this year. And then he asked, “Who would you give Conor?” Uncle Chael also stated that McGregor does not throw out names of fighters or how many times he wants to fight. However, now he did announce that he wanted the Chandler fight and two more after that. Now we all know that McGregor has two fights left in his contract.  However, ‘The Notorious’ is hell-bent on fighting more than twice.

Then Sonnen mentioned a past incident that happened in 2020. He said, “It was December. Connor comes out does an interview out of nowhere and says, ‘I’m gonna be fighting in Vegas next month’, which meant January.” Then he mentioned that the fight got hyped up because McGregor mentioned it. He said, “They scrambled it, put it together, insert Donald Cerrone. 170 lb weight class so that nobody had to figure out how to make weight on that short of notice. And sold out overnight. But I bring you the time phrase  looked amazing he stops Cowboy I mean, this is like a hero moment.”

So his announcing it in the media might make UFC give him three fights! Just like McGregor announced his fight with Cerrone and also announced his Chandler fight even when it was not finalized, he declared another big news.

McGregor talks about a world tour

In the previous Kick live broadcast, fans were asking him questions and he was answering them live. He was talking about his upcoming UFC 303 bout and how he would celebrate his birthday after that. One fan asked him about his possible world tour conference. Mystic Mac did not disappoint and answered the question.
