Israel Adesanya was eagerly awaiting the opportunity to settle his rivalry with Dricus Du Plessis inside the octagon, which was sparked by the heated ‘real African’ debate. Their feud intensified after UFC 290, where Du Plessis secured an impressive victory over former champion Robert Whittaker.
Their clash was expected to culminate at UFC 293 in September, but those plans seem to have been foiled. Fuming with disappointment, the reigning UFC middleweight champion expressed his frustration with Du Plessis in a social media post. According to ‘The Last Stylebender’, Du Plessis injured his foot and is now unable to compete. Unleashing his anger, the New Zealander didn’t hold back in his criticism of ‘Stillknocks.’ ‘Izzy’ called him derogatory names and dismissed him as not worthy of being a true champion.
Following this rant, ‘The Last Stylebender’ has put out yet another remark for his trolls, highlighting his impressive resume and accomplishments.
