MMA fans recently lost it over an over-dramatic face-off between two fighters at Ural FC 2. Now, the pair of them have outdone themselves with yet another over-the-top deed ahead of their fight this weekend.

Face-offs have become an integral part of MMA over the years. The two fighters that are set to lock horns in the cage look each other in the eye as they steel their mind. Such an act is also an important aspect of the psychological warfare involved in fighting. There are those that use the opportunity to talk trash and get under their opponent’s skin. Meanwhile, some other fighters stare directly into the soul of their opponents to get an upper hand even before the fight has begun.

Nevertheless, face-offs also offer an important aspect of entertainment to the fans. As things heat up and fighters get restless, it often leads to the drama that adds to the hype for the fight. Several heated rivalries, like those between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov, Jon Jones, and Daniel Cormier, have all had very dramatic face-offs.

42-year-old Geronimo dos Santos will face 43-year-old Viacheslav Datsik in a heavyweight bout at Ural FC 2. The event will go down this weekend on March 25. Earlier this week, the pair got into a heated face-off that evoked a lot of comparison with the likes of Jon Jones. Now, they have given another gem to the fans, hours before their clash.

While the fighters were screaming on each other’s faces last time, they tried costumes this time. The Brazilian showed up with his country’s flag painted on his face and chest. Meanwhile, the Russian showed up wearing a bear’s skin.
