UFC star Carla Esparza gave the MMA community a pleasant update when she announced her pregnancy on Sunday. Not did the former UFC champion finally reveal the “little secret” she hid from the fans, but also declared her hiatus from the promotion. The strawweight fighter had failed to defend her title on her last trip to the octagon as Zang Weili triumphed over her at UFC 281. Since then, the speculations related to her next opponent had gained traction. However, the fans might have to wait longer for the Torrance native’s comeback to the octagon.
Notably, the 35-year-old took to her Instagram handle as she shared a heartfelt picture along with her husband, Matthew Lomeli. Furthermore, the strawweight fighter held a blue t-shirt as she alluded to the unborn child as a “baby cookie monster”. Also, she gave the fans a timeline of her return.
