Carly Gibson launched Bek Scacheri with a high-kick
In a 2017 Destiny match-up between Carly Gibson and Bek Scacheri, everything was going fine until the second round. However, it was all downhill for Scacheri as her opponent made a quick move to lift her leg and land a kick on the back of her head. Further, the Muay Thai-based battle ended on a high note.
Scacheri was anticipating a low kick based on her opponent’s previous kicks and swung her arm downwards. That was the last thought that converted into action as Gibson took the window of opportunity. After which, she anticipated her moves based on her stance and thrust her leg upwards. The female fighter obtained the perfect connection with the back of her opponent’s head. She put all the power into that high kick and put her opponent to sleep.
The referee rushed toward the fallen opponent and pushed Gibson away. He checked on her, lifted her up, and confirmed she was ok. Her coach consoled Scacheri and even Gibson came to talk to her after celebrating her victory with her coach.
