Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier finally settle their 1-1 series tie tonight at UFC 264. Ahead of the fight, YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul took yet another shot at the Irishman. He released a new video mocking Conor McGregor’s last knockout loss. Paul unveiled a $100,000 diamond-encrusted emblem of McGregor down on the canvas at UFC 257.
Jake Paul has been relentless in his approach to secure a boxing match with the UFC poster boy. After the UFC 264 press conference, he also tweeted that McGregor has lost the “it” factor. Even a few hours before the mega-clash at UFC 264, Paul again tweeted out at Conor McGregor to get his attention for a possible boxing match with him.

“We got my new $100,000 Nyquil McGregor, sleepy McGregor chain,” said Jake Paul in a recent video.

With Jake Paul relentlessly belittling Conor McGregor on social media, fans of the Irish superstar have been waiting to get a response. In a UFC 264 interview, ‘the Notorious’ one finally clapped back at both Paul brothers in typical fashion. He said that he could not care less about those “dingbats”; however, McGregor did not rule out the possibility of fighting them in the future.

“I couldn’t care about them two dingbats. I don’t see so, but never say never. If they’re gonna keep competing, who knows? But, dingbats, the two of them,” said Conor McGregor in response to being asked about a possibility of facing the Paul brothers in the future.
Next steps for Conor McGregor
If he wins tonight, fighting Charles Oliveira for the 155 lbs title would be the next obvious step for McGregor. However, a second consecutive loss against Poirier would put him in a tough spot. Joe Duffy, who knocked out Conor McGregor in 2010, believes that he would not have a lot of options at hand if he loses at UFC 264. He added that doing the Nate Diaz trilogy or even boxing the Paul brothers would be some possible next moves for McGregor.
“I think the avenue for Conor if he loses is the Nate fight or a big boxing fight, the Jake Pauls, stuff along those lines rather than a run back at the title,” said Joe Duffy in a recent interview.
