The UFC president recently appeared in an interview with ‘Nina Drama’. He addressed the issue surrounding the safety of his Power Slap competitors. White said, “We spend the money to make sure we have two healthy people in there before the fight.” He mentioned that there are a lot of medical procedures that they follow before setting up a slap-fighting contest.

Dana White also drew a comparison between the combat sports like boxing to that of slap-fighting. He added, “In Slap, they take 3-5 slaps per event. Fighters in boxing take 3 to 4 hundred punches a fight.” White continues, “It’s education or pure hate.” Let us take a look at what the fans had to say on social media.

However, some people don’t even agree that Power Slap competitors are real fighters.

Injuries and concerns regarding health and well-being are always important issues in any sport.
