Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz seem to have found a common enemy! The two men are known for their famed rivalry that has led to some spectacular moments inside the Octagon. But in a recent social media post, Diaz came out to slam the UFC and Dana White for their treatment of fighters and their contracts and also highlighted his support for the Irish MMA icon’s plight.
His post struck a chord with the MMA world as McGregor had also recently confessed the terrible impact of delays in receiving a date for his comeback – “I was hoping for a December date, then a January date, then it keeps getting pushed back, then I lose interest and stop training for a while”. However, Diaz’s shout-out has been well received by ‘The Notorious’ who indicated his appreciation for the support in a recent statement.

Recently, Conor McGregor voiced his frustrations with the UFC’s delays in securing a date for his return to the Octagon after a long hiatus since 2021. His words resonated with Nate Diaz, who shared a message of support for McGregor, with a reference to his own struggles with the UFC.
He posted on X, “This was me for years before Conor even got here. They want (you) to die before (you) get out these contracts. It’s up to you to make something pop. No one gonna help you but you. Free Conor, it’s (St.) Patty’s Day in this b***”
And during a recent press event for the promotion of McGregor’s role in ‘Road House’, the Irishman was asked to state his thoughts on Diaz’s “shout out”. McGregor stated, “Love it, love Nate. Happy Paddy’s day to the Diaz bros and the Diaz clan, man. The man and I shared many minutes in the Octagon.”
