Khabib ‘The Eagle’ Nurmagomedov believes the Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather boxing match was uncompetitive. The Youtuber turned boxer Logan Paul faced Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather in a lucrative boxing match on the 6th of June. This match garnered a lot of attention from fans and celebrities around the world.
Even though the match ended without a winner, the fighters pulled in a lot of money from the event. Several other fighters took to the media to share their disgust over the fight. One of them was the former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
While talking to the Russian media recently Khabib said, “What’s there to say? They came out made money. It’s purely business, there was no competitive aspect to it old Mayweather came out, they sparred and made money.”

He added, “What else is there to say? How do I feel about it? The guys decided to make money. Should I tell them to not make money and not to fight? They came out, put on a show, and earned what- ten of millions. I have no interest in doing something like that yet”
‘The Eagle’ didn’t seem impressed by matches like these. For him, professional fights are more than just a way to earn money.

Khabib Nurmagomedov is one of the greatest fighters in UFC history. With an impressive record of 29-0, the Dagestan native retired from combat sports last October after defeating Justin Gaethje in a title bout at UFC 254. He is now pursuing his own MMA promotion called Eagle Fighting Championship in Russia.
However, Nurmagomedov’s manager Ali Abdelaziz notified the world that the Saudi Arabia matchmakers offered ‘The Eagle’ a sum of $100 million dollars to fight Mayweather in an exhibition match. It is an offer no fighter would deny.
