McGregor took to Twitter to address it. ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ wasn’t happy about it, though. In the JRE MMA show episode #128, Usman revealed his thoughts about McGregor’s tweet and why he didn’t like it.

Talking about the fight, Usman revealed Edwards executed the kick perfectly. However, post the knockout, the camera quickly turned toward his daughter, and watching that was an ‘instant trigger response’ for him, as he wanted to cry. He further revealed his feelings about his daughter; especially during fight week.

As per the short clip from the JRE posted by ‘MMA Duels’, the 35-year-old fighter said, “I’ve built myself into this iron clad guy, to this mental state that I want to be in to go to war. And with my daughter, she flips the switch on all that. She turns it off.”

“And I learned that at that fight. Like okay, I got to limit my moments with her because she softens me up.”

“… when I see her now, it’s like moments, I try to really fight that and stay in that place and not spend too much time with her. Cause she’s going to get affectionate.”
